I admit it... we really miss living in Half Moon Bay, California. Every day that we were lucky enough to have lived there there, I had to pinch myself!
1. A Palm Tree in my backyard? ✅
2. Steps from the Pacific Ocean? ✅
3. Own a Beach Bike Cruiser with a Basket? ✅
4. Every night falling asleep to the sound of waves? ✅
5. Endless Waves and Ocean Views.... ✅
So, this is why we created our California Dreaming Collection. I miss the farming, fishing and surfing vibe of our small ocean town located so close to to big city life in San Francisco, but in a completely different world. I miss the view of a wild sea, the beachcombing for shells and sea glass that was just a quick walk from my house...
Imagine the laid-back elegance of a California beach house, where soft denim blues meet the inviting warmth of sun-kissed sand tones and natural beauty. Our version of this effortlessly chic style is brought to life with rich textures and bohemian-inspired accents, creating a space that feels both relaxed and refined.
Almost every morning before work, we rode our beach cruisers out to our favorite coffee spot to watch the morning surfers as the sun came up. So fun to watch them catch the waves and have a blast riding them into the shore. Of course there were many days when the surfing community was simply "floating" waiting for waves to roll in.. still looked like fun!
I love the idea of completing the California beach vibe look with surf-inspired artwork that evokes endless beach days by the Pacific Ocean....
And then, gather your friends, dust off your record player, and dive into your vintage vinyl collection. Maybe pull out some favorite CSN or Neil Young tunes, or maybe even the Mamas and Papas?
