Seaside Inspired Easter Egg Decorating
Posted by Caron + Crew on Mar 29, 2018
First off, I have to tell you all that I am a really bad Easter Egg "colorer"... but have so much admiration for people who can actually make Easter Eggs look so beautiful! Enjoy our team's annual round-up of beautiful seaside and beachy decorated eggs. (We've tried to include the links back to the original sources and instructions when we could find the information for you all)
Have fun!
1. First one on our list - love these pretty turquoise and white Easter Eggs from the Nautical Wheeler. Click for the details
2. A beautiful Easter Egg project from Kim at Sand and Sisal - pop over to her blog for the complete details of how to create these dark blue decopaged eggs. Absolutely gorgeous!
3. Keep it simple, just add aqua (these look almost like Robin's eggs- so pretty!) decorated eggs to a shell bowl with driftwood and bleached shells. So fun from Breezy Designs
4. Hand-painted nautical golden anchors! (could not find the source - sorry about that)
5. Pretty decopaged eggs from Stacy at Golden Anchor Art. Looks like a lot of work, but so pretty! You can find Stacy on Instagram
6. Narwal Easter Eggs - Oh my gosh, these are just too adorable! From A Joyful Riot - click here for the step by step instructions.
7. Nautical Bowl of Easter Eggs from The Mermaids Tale. Seriously, check her entire blog post - so darn creative! LOVE LOVE those little buoys and fish net covered eggs, not to mention the eggs sand dollar and sea urchin details. WOW - am a little envious of the imagination that went into these beauties!
8. Love love love the retro tropical-beach decoupage images! Way too cute, must see the whole blog for all of the directions PLUS the artist has printable images that you can use to create your own eggs. Hop on over to Melodrama Decor. (Adorable blog by the way!)
9. Gorgeous Gems of the Sea from Coastal Living! Love these coastal aqua and turquoise shades of blue.
10. From Pleasures in Simple Things - check her blog for all the directions, but these were two of my fave ideas!
11. Another simple idea that is just pretty, coastal and very spring like! Starfish Cottage always has such great ideas.
12. Traditional nautical colors and theme make up these fun Easter Eggs - not sure of the source, but still wanted to include them on our list as they are so cool and completely different.
13. And last, but not least - fun decorating ideas from Wendi at H20 Bungalow. Love the nautical symbols adorning the pastel Easter Eggs!
With just a few days before this holiday weekend, there is still time to try to add some fun coastal touches to your Easter celebration. Would so love to see your pics!
