Summer Sparkling Peach and Blackberry Sangria
Posted by Caron on Aug 10, 2018
Oh my goodness! So incredibly yummy, and unlike some other sangria recipes, this summer favorite fresh peach and wild coastal blackberry wine cocktail is a snap to make and can be served right away.
Here's what you will need to serve 4-6 friends!
- 2 to 3 fresh sliced peaches
- 1/2 -1 cup fresh blackberries (I like more!)
- 3/4 cup peach or apricot brandy
- 1 bottle chilled Moscato wine
- 1 liter chilled peach seltzer water
Tip: I love vintage canning jars for all kinds of things - perfect idea for "summer on the deck" cocktails! Or you can try these new Anchors Aweigh Cooler Glasses on for size if you don't have canning jars handy -
Add to a large pitcher, 3/4 of the sliced peaches and most of the blackberries. Then pour in the brandy and lightly muddle. Don't smash the peaches and blackberries if you can help it! Add in the Moscato wine and peach seltzer water. Stir gently with wooden spoon to mix. Pour into ice-filled glasses (or jars!) and top with fresh peach slices and the reserved blackberries.
Tip: Use a little fresh lemon on the reserved peaches so that they do not turn brown before you have a chance to add them to your sangria.
