The impressively detailed Bluenose II is a finely handcrafted polished cedar wood replica of the fishing schooner Bluenose, that was commissioned by Sidney Culverwell Oland and built in 1963 as a promotional yacht for Oland Brewery. Sidney Oland donated the schooner to Nova Scotia in 1971 and it became Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador.
Beautifully crafted with real cotton sails, intricate rigging and polished multi-shades of cedar, this classic nautical accent would complement so many elegantly appointed beach home spaces!
