These new Ocean Beach Treasure throws are not only decorative and cozy, they are simply amazingly created from recycled plastic bottles! PET yarn in shades of cream, tan and taupe are mixed together to keep your look rustic and perfect for beach living.
Gathered plastic bottles are cleaned thoroughly and chipped. These chips are then melted and pigments are mixed with these opaque or clear melted chips. This molten plastic is then extruded through spinnerets as a fiber that cools into a thread. The fibers are then spun together to make yarns and those yarns are then used to create these cozy throws with decorative tasseled corners that can be used indoor or out to enhance your seaside space. What a beautiful way to help save our oceans!
